Edward Mandla’s career spans more than two decades in business and over a decade making voluntary contributions to the broader community. He’s held leaderships roles in Australian and multinational organisations including: the Australian Computer Society (ACS), Alt-U Executive Search, Stochastic Simulation Limited, Computer Associates, Resumix (now Yahoo), Protech Microsystems, AST Computers (now Samsung), HiSoft and Parity Computer.

Edward has also sat on a number of Federal Government ministerial task forces, mentored young entrepreneurs under the Step Up Program, advised on technology policy, is a Past President of the Australian Computer Society and was made an Honorary Life Member in 2007.

Academically, Edward has a distinguished record. He received 1st Class Honours in Commerce from the University of New South Wales majoring in Information Systems. Edward won the “Datec Prize” for Best Honours Thesis relating to Information Systems techniques used for commercial applications. He was also awarded the 1st University Medal for outstanding academic achievement in Information Systems.

Edward has authored columns for The Australian, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and a number of magazines. Edward can be regularly heard on radio and has made numerous TV appearances including Meet the Press.

His passion is helping organisations secure the right sales, delivery and implementation teams to win major enterprise deals. His belief is 80% of the major sales in the technology industry are made by 20% of its top performers. These are the people achieving right now in other companies.
